1. Account Opening Instructions for Individual Customers
* Vietnamese individual customers
Customers bring Identity/Citizenship Card (valid original) to the FPTS Offices to sign the Securities Trading Account Opening Agreement.
* Foreign individual customers
Foreign customers need to prepare all necessary documents and follow instructions below to open an account:

Securities Trading Code Application Form
Authorization for Securities Trading Code Application
Valid copy is referred to a notarized copy certified by competent authorities in the home country and legalized in consular legalization by competent authorities of Vietnam (The notarized, certified documents must have the validity of no more than one year dated from the date on which foreign investors send the documents to depository members.)

2. Account Opening Instructions for Institutional Customers
* Vietnamese institutional customers
Necessary documents include:
* Foreign institutional customers
Foreign institutional customers need to prepare following documents to apply for securities trading code to open an account:
- Securities Trading Code Application Form
- Power of Attorney assigned to perform securities trading code registration
- Valid copy* of Certificate of Business Registration/Incorporation/Fund Charter or Capital Contribution Agreement
- Copy of ID/Citizenship Card/Passport of the legal representative of the institution
- Authorization Paper/Power of the Attorney assigned to perform trading (if any)
- Information Form on Foreign Investor's Attorney assigned to perform securities trading (if any)
- Valid copy* of ID/Citizenship Card/Passport of the attorney assigned to perform trading
- Valid copy* of securities business practice certificate of the attorney assigned to perform trading

Follow the instructions below to conduct information registration for online account opening:
Go to the website: www.fpts.com.vn, click on the Open an Account box
Select account type and customer type, click Open Account to start
Step 1: Accountholder information
- Fill in personal information completely and accurately
Note: You are recommended to remember the Pin Code to look up or edit registered information
After filling in all personal information, Click Next to proceed
Step 2: Securities transaction information
The Customer registers for the services
Register services
After selecting the services, click Next to continue
Step 3: Select account number
Choose the securities trading account number by branch
Move the mouse cursor to the question mark to be guided on the rules for choosing a securities trading account number
- If you cannot find a desired number, you can choose a random one.
Note: You can change this account number before signing the account opening contract with FPTS
After getting the account number, click Next button to proceed
Step 4: Finish
Tick the box “I agree to the above Terms & Conditions,” then click Save
A message with FPTS contact will be popped up for you to complete the account opening procedure at FPTS.
Note:
- If you want to change the declared information, click Search
- You need to fill in full information, namely Full name, ID number and PIN number, then click "Search"
Click the pen icon to edit the information
After successfully registering information, please come directly to FPTS Offices to sign the contract or contact our Customer Service Department via Hotline 19006446 for support.
