MARGIN T+

INTEREST

The Margin Trading Service enables you to borrow money from FPTS, secured by your securities bought with the loan or available securities on your account. Using this service, you can borrow an amount equalling up to 50% of your investment portfolio to buy more shares. This means you will earn more profit than the ordinary trading if the shares increase in price. In contrast, you will lose more money if the shares decline in price.

Margin trading by item (EzMargin/EzMortgage) enables you to apply for a margin loan and manage every item of loan based on each order placed to buy securities on margin or to mortgage securities. This category includes two products:

- EzMargin (Buying on margin): Allowing you to purchase marginable securities with a part of your own cash and the rest covered by FPTS. The shares purchased are be used as the collateral for margin loans.

- EzMortgage (Mortgaging securities): Allowing you to use securities available on account or purchased securities pending for clearing payment to borrow money from FPTS.

After signing the Margin Trading Contract and getting margin limits granted by FPTS, you can start to place an order to buy shares on margin or mortgage your shares in the following ways:

- At FPTS offices: You mark on the Margin Trading column on the Order Form or use Securities Mortgage Form

- Via telephone (only applied to customers using Token Card and registering telephone-enabled transaction). You need to clearly tell the broker about your margin trading/securities mortgage when you place an order via telephone.

- Via the internet

Margin T+ Package offers zero-interest for a given period of time based on each registered option in order to achieve the best margin from trading.

- To use Margin Trading T+ package, you must have your account registered with Margin Trading by Item (EzMargin/EzMortgage) Service at FPTS and then registered to use Margin T+ Package.

- When you use Margin T+ Package, you can change your margin T+ options as well as the handling methods as you wish.
