Margin T+

- You can easily register/change/cancel Margin T+ packages online via FPTS trading applications (EzTrade and EzMobileTrading) or can make those requests directly over the counter at FPTS Offices. Changes made during the trading session will take effect immediately and be applied to all contracts on that trading day.

- Features:

  • Number of T+ days: Number of days of relevant T+ options. For example, with the T+7 option, the contract term is 7 days from the date of securities purchased. (Note: The number of days is calendar days, not working days).
  • Interest is exempted for n days for relevant T+n loan option.
  • In-term and overdue interest rates are applied separately to each option.
  • In case the loan is extended, it will bear a higher overdue interest rate from the time of extension.
  • You may opt for automatic handling of expired loans.
    • Auto-renewal
    • Automatic sale of securities on loan
  • You may settle the loan or extend it with the same rules subject to the standard margin contract.
  • The loan will be charged interest rates starting from the date of loan extension, with a minimum interest amount of VND30,000.
  • Margin T+ options:
    • Margin T+3 option: The margin loan carries zero interest in the first 3 days
    • Margin T+5 option: The margin loan carries zero interest in the first 5 days
    • Margin T+7 option: The margin loan carries zero interest in the first 7 days
  • Using Margin Trading T+ package, you may choose one of the two automatic handling methods at the end of the T+n trading day if margin contract has not been settled:
    • Automatically extend the loan for a new term of three (03) months if the securities ticker bought on margin is still in FPTS's given list of marginable securities and the accumulated interest will be added to the principal amount. The overdue interest rate will be applied after the contract is extended.
    • Automatically sell and process all remaining securities used as loan collaterals.
