* After registering for the service, you go to the "Search for Advisors" screen to see information about advisors according to your needs:
- List of consultants is initially displayed based on the branch of customers.
* You may search by type of consultant by selecting 1 of the 2 following screens:
- Investment advisors
- Analysis advisors
* On each screen, you may search according to common standards as follows:
- Name of advisor: searched by the characters of the advisor's name
- Year of experience: Years of experience of the advisor
- Branch: Branch of the advisor (the system will pre-select to search only by the customer's Branch by default).
- Each screen has its own standards for searching:
- Investment advisor:
- Investment field: According to the field that the advisor is in charge of.
- Analysis advisor:
- Type of advisor: According to the field that the advisor is in charge of.
* At one time:
- Customers may only register 01 Investment advisor and/or many Analysis advisors.
- Customers may only register 01 fee package of 01 advisor.
* Customers register for an advisor:
- Before 15:00 on a working day, the service will be effective immediately on the registration date.
- After 15:00 on a working day or on a holiday, the service will be effective on the next working day.
* Customers register for a advisor's service according to one of his/her listed fee packages.
* Each type of fee will have a different calculation and collection method:
- Consulting fee by time:
- Includes 3 types of fees: Daily/Weekly/Monthly; customers may only choose 1 of the 3 types above.
- The fee will be collected immediately at the time the customer successfully registers for an advisor.
- If the customer cancels the advisory service during the valid period, the fee will not be refunded.
Note: For customers who register after 15:00, the effective date will be the next working day. If the record is not effective and the customer cancels the registration, the fee will be refunded to the customer.
- Consulting fee based on transaction value:
- The fee is calculated based on the transaction value of the customer's Underlying Securities (excluding odd lot transactions). The transaction value of Derivative Securities will NOT be subject to investment consulting fees. The fee based on transaction value will be calculated by FPTS system to be collected at the time after the end of the trading time at the Stock Exchanges:
- Formula of transaction value fee calculation: Transaction value fee = Transaction value of underlying securities * Fee tariff.
- Note: Investment consulting fee based on transaction value will only be calculated and collected at the time FPTS runs the system after the end of the trading session and will not be suspended at the time of matching the customer's order. At the time, if the customer's account does not have enough balance to collect the consulting fee, the system will not collect this fee. Then, when the customer has enough money to collect, FPTS will collect on the customer's account.
- Consulting fee based on Net Asset Value (NAV):
- The fee is calculated based on the Total Net Asset Value of both underlying and derivative securities at the end of each day of the customer. The NAV fee will be calculated and collected once on the first working day of the following month.
- NAV fee = Average value NAV of the month * Fee tariff.
In which:
Average value NAV of the month = ∑ (NAV of actual days of using service)/Total actual days of the month.
NAV = NAV of underlying securities
* After the customer successfully registers/chooses a Consultant: the system will automatically send an email notification to the corresponding Consultant.
Note: The fee will be suspended (similar to the deposit fee) if the customer's account does not have enough balance for transactions.
- This is the screen displaying information about the Investment advisor that the customer is using the service.
Note: This screen will not include Analysis advisor: because analysis consultants are mainly selected to support in-depth and short-term analysis information.
- This screen has the following functions:
- Show information of the Investment advisor
- Name
- Telephone
- Consulting rating score
- “Cancel selection” button: Cancel the advisory service
- Show investment consulting fees when the customer uses the advisory service
- List of investment consulting reports of the advisor
- Related documents: will be transferred to the “Documents” screen.
- During the service period, customers may cancel the advisory service if needed.
- Customers may only cancel the advisory service online on EzAdvisorSelect.
- Note: Canceling the advisory service at quarters is only for the purpose of closing the account.
- When customers cancel the service during the service period, the collected Investment consulting fee will not be refunded the Investment consulting fee for the time-based.
Note: In case customers register for the advisory service according to the type of time-based fee, the registration time is after 15:00 on a working day or on a holiday and then the customer cancels the service right before the service takes effect (01:00 on the next working day), the pending fee will be refunded to the customer.
Consultants leave job
- In case the advisor at the service quits the job while a customer is using the Investment consulting service with the time-based advisory fee: The customer will be refunded the fee corresponding to the remaining time of the service:
- The refund amount corresponds to the number of remaining days of unused service (from the date the advisor quits the job to the date the service expires)
- Refunded fee = (Fee collected / Total number of days of the fee package) * Number of remaining days.
- The refund only applies to the time-based consulting fee, the remaining fees will not be refunded (because they haven’t paid money before, so there is nothing to refund).
